Will the Pro pedals receive a calibration software upgrade to match the Pro X, or is the control box incapable of supporting this?

The Pro X calibration software can upgrade the Pro Control Box to version 1.8.0, enabling it to be calibrated with the Pro X software. Be cautious not to disconnect, power down, or exit the program during the upgrade to avoid rendering the control box unusable.
